Children thinking critically in maths
Solving number problems requires a lot of critical thinking. Well done to the children above who cracked their puzzles by challenging their thinking and applying new thinking!
Year 5/6 Mayan Farming
The children in Miss Harper's class had to think critically about how they could farm on Ancient Mayan terrain. It wasn't easy as areas of land included: forests with swamps, dry, arid land and mountainous areas. We really needed our thinking caps on! Well done to Leon's group who came up with a brilliant platform system for the swampy areas!
